Bulletin from Ireland
Today the cloud lifted enough to allow this view from a local harbour:
Irish harbour at sunset
The harbour was fascinating; it was a deep water channel and bowl surrounded by submerged shingle banks in an otherwise unprotected stretch of coastal water. At first glance it seemed open to all the turmoil of the sea, but then as my eyes accepted the scene I realised the waves were breaking all around the pool but the pool itself was calm.
