Runway clear for takeoff

Seems it is one of those weeks. First Sun & Microsoft settle early, with Scott and Steve exchanging sport shirts and cracking jokes with each other rather than at each other's expense. Then Microsoft starts an open source project. Today I read that OpenOffice.org is more compatible with Powerpoint than Powerpoint is with itself. The only explanation I can think of is that, now hell has frozen over, herd after herd of pigs have found it a handy level surface to use for take-off.
