Time for Plan B?
Note to self: there is no such thing as a 'defensive patent', only an offensive patent waiting to be sold by auction. My non-expert eye suggests this patent sale is really bad news for WS-* web services - I wonder if the bundle of patents also affect "RESTian" web services?

its a great question - i am on the phone at this very moment talking to grand central. i had to balk at the argument "WS-I" was "free stuff" - oh yeah? what about commerce one...

i think restian is less problematical. more patent free stuff in the early wave
