Fishy Business Again
Heise is reporting that the EU Council of Ministers is to take another stab at the Software Patent Directive - once again illicitly snuck onto the agenda of an unrelated meeting (fish-related, in fact) just so as to get it out of the way. This is just not right. The subject needs discussion to find a win-win as I wrote before. The fact the unspoken cartel behind the changes doesn't want an open discussion shows they fear the daylight of truth. I just hope those in a position to promote justice will act (this time Germany rather than Poland).
