Tasty Feist

If the name rings a bell, it may be because I swooned over a single by Leslie Feist back in April. I just bought the album it came from, "Let It Die" [US|UK], to listen in the car as I drive around the US.

I'm delighted with it - quirky, sexy, mellow music spanning a wide range of genres, including some covers that sound her own. The track that originally hooked me, "One Evening", is still my favourite but others are growing on me fast, such as the pleasantly tongue-in-cheek "Mushaboom". Well worth a listen on a lazy Sunday.
