Lunar Eclipse
Gadling reminds me that there's a total lunar eclipse tomorrow that will be viewable from Southampton around 11pm. I hope the sky is clear enough to get the sort of pictures they are featuring today.

I have very fond memories of watching the most stupendous lunar eclipse in California several years ago. I was sitting in a hot-tub around sunset and the moon rose on the horizon, huge and bright. As I sat there, it gradually was covered in shadow and then appeared the most wonderful Uluhru-earth-red colour. The whole spectacle and experience is etched deep in my memory, so I'd love to add to it with another eclipse.
